What is faith formation? Formerly referred to as “religious education,” we believe faith formation is an ongoing, life-long process that is meant to be shared with others on the journey. Rather than a set of rules to follow, or facts to memorize, faith formation is a family, a tight-knit Christian community, who shares and grows together. To achieve this, we at Resurrection try to offer faith formation opportunities for every age, from preschool to adult. You’ll notice all faith formation sessions for youth and some adult faith formation sessions occur on Sundays. This is intentionally planned so that faith formation can be family-oriented and convenient for families to attend. There are sessions between the Masses and after the later Mass on Sundays. Sunday is a “day of rest,” time for family, and time for faith.

Adult Faith Formation
Sunday Adult Faith Formation Sessions
These sessions occur on select Sundays between Masses. They are generally scheduled September through May, and are a great opportunity for adult parishioners and parents of children in faith formation to grow in their own faith as an adult. Session topics and speakers vary. In the past, these sessions have been called “Faith in Action.” All adults are welcome. Contact: Anna Mosey at email@example.com.
