Thanks to your support, we have built a gymnasium
at Resurrection Catholic Parish!

The gym is now the
Resurrection Activity Center (RAC).

Resurrection Catholic Parish Gymnasium Mission Statement.

The intention of the RAC was, and is, designed to offer Resurrection parishioners, the community, and their guests a convenient and broadly equipped gymnasium to exercise, remain physically active, and to interact and socialize with fellow class mates and parishioners. The facility is equipped with an activity divider, basketball hoops, folding bleachers, and volleyball nets. We plan to offer a dynamic blend of equipment and space to accommodate all our community with all ages welcome. We strive to build relationships with our parish and school community and beyond. This next stage of Resurrection Catholic Parish was made possible through the generosity of our parishioners.

Resurrection Gymnasium History and Future

Why did our parish build the RAC?

To meet our need for suitable athletic facilities, Resurrection Catholic Parish needed to build a new, ADA accessible gymnasium on a site between Rossman Hall and the lower parking lot.

The RAC was a Dream Big request by many parishioners (but is not paid for by the Dream Big fund).

The RAC helps attract families to the parish.

The RAC helps keep all kids engaged in the parish.

The RAC is used by our school children.

The RAC is beneficial to adults too for exercise classes, basketball, handball, volleyball, and more.

The long-term parish campus plan, formulated prior to the Moisant Faith Formation Center construction, originally included a gymnasium where the current parish office building sits.

What was once just the Resurrection Catholic Preschool has grown to become an elementary school, with more than 100 students in classes through the fifth grade beginning in the fall of 2022.

Sounds fun! How can I help?

Stewardship is what the Holy Spirit within our hearts calls us to do as disciples of Jesus Christ; Your response is important so that the church can do her job of proclaiming Jesus Christ. Your gifts enable Resurrection to continue its mission to grow in faith, hope and love, and as disciples of Jesus Christ, to advance the reign of God here in our midst.
