Love God - Serve Others
To meet our need for suitable athletic facilities, Resurrection Catholic Parish needs your help to build a new, ADA accessible gymnasium on a site between Rossman Hall and the lower parking lot.
The RAC was a Dream Big request by many parishioners (but is not paid for by the Dream Big fund)
The RAC helps attract families to the parish
The RAC helps keep kids engaged in the parish
The RAC will be used by our school children
The RAC is beneficial to adults too for exercise classes, basketball, handball, volleyball, even pickle ball
The long-term parish campus plan, formulated prior to the Moisant Faith Formation Center construction, originally included a gymnasium where the current parish office building sits.
What was once just the Resurrection Catholic Preschool has grown to become an elementary school, with more than 100 students in classes through the fifth grade beginning in the fall of 2022.
The gym will feature a regulation middle school basketball court of 84 feet by 50 feet, which can also be used as two half-sized courts or two regulation volleyball courts.
To expedite the construction and minimize the cost, the building will include cinder block walls and simple steel roof trusses, but will still include a traditional wood floor.
We already have $1 million pledged toward the total cost of the gym.
Permits and structure: $1.8 Million
Pledged: $1.0 Million
Balance to raise $ 800,000

Stewardship is what the Holy Spirit within our hearts calls us to do as disciples of Jesus Christ; Your response is important so that the church can do her job of proclaiming Jesus Christ. Your gifts enable Resurrection to continue its mission to grow in faith, hope and love, and as disciples of Jesus Christ, to advance the reign of God here in our midst.
