2nd Annual Free Throw Competition

The Knights of Columbus are pleased to present the 2nd annual Free Throw Competition. Open to all children, ages 9 to 14:

Where: Resurrection Gymnasium

When: Sunday, January 12, 2025

Time: Gym opens at 11:30 a.m. for practice; Competition will run from 12:15 p.m. to 2:00 p.m.

Required: Completed Entry forms are required. See below. Filled-in forms can be dropped off at the back of the Church, the School, the Parish Office, and with Faith Formation.

Refreshments: Will be served in Rossman Hall after the competition.

Jubilee 2025 — Pilgrims of Hope

On May 9, 2024, Pope Francis announced Jubilee Year 2025 with the theme, Pilgrims of Hope: “In the heart of each person, hope dwells as the desire and expectation of good things to come, despite our not knowing what the future may bring. … This interplay of hope and patience makes us see clearly that the Christian life is a journey calling for moments of greater intensity to encourage and sustain hope. … May the power of hope fill our days, as we await with confidence the coming of the Lord Jesus Christ, to whom be praise and glory, now and forever.” — Pope Francis, Spes Non Confundit, given in Rome, at Saint John Lateran, on 9 May 2024, the Solemnity of the Ascension of our Lord Jesus Christ.
